Powerful Weighing Software

The ability to monitor and control up to 4 scales with independent scale settings, an advanced database for managing store tare & target values, plus thousands of weighing records which can then be exported into higher level applications is the core of an advanced terminal that has the flexibility needed to integrate into a broad variety of weighing appplications

Effective User Interface

The QVGA coor display with easily configurable soft-keys, as well as standard interface to both external data entry devices and bar code readers provides a high productivity method for users to interact with the weighing system

 

Flexible Configuration and Custom Programmability

A broad variety of interface including fieldbus, Ethernet TCP/IP, serial, USB, and up to 40 inputs and 56 outputs using both internal and external I/O is possible. A pulse counter input provides further sensor integration possibility and the ability to run custom software on this terminal provide a powerful ability to create a weighing solution that tightly fits with production processes

Flexible Control Options

The ability to connect to a broad variety of fieldbus networks, and the internal discrete I/O provide a solution for gain-in-weight (filling), loss-in-weight (dosing) and level indication applications.  These terminals are suitable for use with either AC or 24VDC input power, providing for flexible integration into a variety of industrial applications

Description

Optimize the amount of visible information with the graphical LCD display. Configure up to four scales and a metrologically approved sum scale, then view one or all simultaneously. The IND780's multiprocessor design provides the fastest A/D performance at 366 Hz, with TraxDSP digital filtering for rough weighing conditions. Configurable softkeys permit single key press operation of important features and functions. The built-in predictive maintenance and diagnostics features help predict errors and plan scale maintenance, rather than react after a scale is already down

The IND780drive is a powerful terminal capable of handling various types of vehicle weighing applications without the use of a PC. Two separate scales can be controlled for inbound and outbound vehicle transactions, with either permanent or temporary vehicle Tare records

Description

The IND780drive industrial terminal is a single or multi-range, high-performance weighing terminal for use with analog and/or METTLER TOLEDO® POWERCELL®/MTX® scale bases. The IND780drive may be used with one or two platforms connected, allowing both platforms access to the same database. The terminal has permanent and temporary memory locations for storing vehicles IDs and weights. These can be recalled to complete a transaction and print a ticket. User-definable database tables enable application and variable data to be stored permanently or temporarily and recalled on demand. Traffic control logic is included using either lights triggered by weight or gates triggered by input from embedded loops, together with vehicle positioning detection. Use the built-in predictive maintenance and diagnostics features as a preventative strategy to predict errors and plan scale maintenance, rather than react after a scale is already down
